There are crystals associated with each of the months of the year as well as each of the zodiac signs; classic astrology as well as the Chinese zodiac. Here is a list of the crystals associated with each.
The Months:
These stones are the ones you are most likely to find in jewellery from high street shops when they are sold as Birthstone Jewellery. Quite frequently the stones will only be the colour of the stone associated with each month, so if you want the real stones, be careful when buying.

Each of the twelve star signs has its own crystal associations. They are not necessarily the same stones as your birth month, but they can sometimes cross over.
